Quick Start

    Download and install

    Open the DMG and drag to Applications

    Choose your folder

    Pick where to save transcriptions (default: ~/My Transcriber/)

  3. 3

    Grant permissions

    Full Disk Access (for Voice Memos watching) and microphone (for push-to-talk)

  4. 4

    Start transcribing

    Record a voice memo or use push-to-talk. The Whisper model downloads automatically on first use (~1.5GB for the default large-v3-turbo model).
